INTRODUCING LAS VEGAS!

It’s the luck of the leprechaun with St. Patrick’s Day around the corner, we couldn’t help but introduce our new Wanderlust set: Las Vegas. May luck be on your side. Let’s roll the dice and hit the jackpot. Vegas is known for being one of the most visited cities in the world. Making it a necessity to add to the Once Kids Wanderlust collection. Here are some fun facts about the desert city.

  • Las Vegas has over 150,000 hotel rooms

  • The city sees over 300 weddings a day whether you're getting married on a whim or you've been planning it for months, if you come to Vegas to say "I do," you definitely won't be alone. Sin city hosts about 10,000 marriage ceremonies every month, which comes out to about 300 a day.

  • The MGM grand's bronze lion is the largest bronze statue in the United States

  • The Venetian is the world’s second-largest hotel. Being such a tourist hotspot, it’s no surprise that Las Vegas is home to some of the world’s biggest hotels. The Venetian takes the spot as the second-largest hotel in the world, while the MGM grand gets third place.

  • The Paris hotel's Eiffel Tower was supposed to be to scale. The iconic Eiffel Tower replica at the Paris hotel is half the size of the original in Paris, France. However, that was not the plan. The original developers wanted the tower to be to scale. At this height, the structure would have been a danger to planes flying in and out of nearby McCarran international airport, hence the size reduction.

  • McCarran international airport is the US’ seventh busiest airport. Nevada's McCarran international airport is the seventh busiest airport in the US. McCarran sees approximately 22 million passengers pass through each year.

Learning about cities around the world is exciting and educational. So if you are feeling lucky, pick up a Wanderlust set or two. Have fun exploring this flashy city for fun and hopefully fortune too!
